The Committee is made up of members of the Oneida Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, The Military Order of the Purple Heart CNY Chapter 490, and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 944. It is being supported by Onieda County Executive Anthony Picente, Mayor's Mike Galime and the Utica Common Council, Glenn Hopsicker and the Whitesboro Village Council, Don Ryan and the Village of NH Council, Jeff Lanigan of Rome, Mike Mahoney of Yorkville, Dale DeKing of Bridgewater, Gene Ostrander of Waterville, New Hartford Town Council Members and Town Supervisor Paul Miscione, and Supervisor Jim Christian of Paris.

The cost of the banner is $150, and hanging hardware is $70. Donations received are covering the cost of the hardware. Banners will be displayed each year from Memorial Day to Veterans Day for a 3 year period.
